  8. Close the Services tab and navigate to C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks Point of Sale XX\UPDATE.

  9. Press Ctrl+A to select all the files and tap Delete.

  10. Tap Yes in the dialogue box to remove all the files and try updating/installing POS after downloading the installation package again.
